Two day event focuses on franchisee success

In spite of the current tough economic climate, Complete Weed Control and its franchisees are taking positive steps to increase business in 2013.

Franchisees from across the country joined head office staff at the annual CWC Franchisee Conference which, this year, was held at Center Parcs in Nottingham. The business conference highlighted the latest product innovations and deepening head office support, designed to enhance communication across the group, whilst providing franchisees with effective solutions for managing and growing their businesses.

“Each year our goal is to strengthen our franchise network and our annual conference plays an important role in achieving that. Our franchisees confirm the value of the event’s contribution to the success of their businesses, attending in growing numbers,” said Ian Graham, Managing Director of Complete Weed Control.

“The event brings an extensive array of resources to one location, providing everything our franchisees need to support the profitable growth of their businesses. Personal relationships are at the core of our business, and the conference gives CWC a further opportunity to directly interact with our franchisees in an environment that helps us better understand their requirements, as well as the need of their customers.”

The two day event provided the ideal opportunity to promote the advances and innovative technology from the company, with presentations focusing on:
  • Baseguard
  • The current economic climate
  • Franchisee development
  • The new company website, which will be launched shortly.
  • Chemical update including changing legislation
  • Business finance and rural crime prevention by NFU Mutual
  • A new marketing campaign including enhanced communication across the group.

‘Back to school’ team building exercises and games broke up the seminars which were designed to revitalise the franchisees' thoughts and were competitively competed in.

"The event was well managed with a lot of preparation to ensure that we got the full benefit from the two days with our franchisees and it was very enjoyable. Everything was geared towards ensuring that our franchisees are the most knowledgeable in the industry and that they have the skills and resources to run a successful business,” continued Graham.

“The response by our franchisees was extremely positive, surpassed only by the camaraderie they shared with colleagues and CWC staff throughout the event. We are very optimistic that 2013 will be a very good year.”

Complete Weed Control will be exhibiting at BTME in Harrogate January 2013 on stand number C48.
